With the recent surge in recalls I've launched a site gathering recall info from the USDA, CPSC, & FDA. I'm using WordPress with a modified theme. I'd like reviews on the look as well as the content(should there be opinion pieces or just straight up recall info ect.) I appreciate any and all feedback.
That's a great idea for a website and nicely done so far.
When looking at it in IE6 the left hand navigation appears right down once all the content has shown. This is annoying.
Personally I would not do it in a blog style - i hate hours of vertical scrolling. seperate it out into sections and keep pages short and neat.

I don't like the logo, especially the very large font that you used to write the words "Recall Mart". It does not look very professional.
Your website looks a bit boring. There is a bunch of text but not enough graphics to make it more lively. I would try to separate the paragraphs in your text with blank lines so that it does not look too intimidating too read.
Other than that, the design is very basic, nothing spectacular.
I would give it a rating of C+.
In terms of Design it is fairly good but why not use Clean URL's ? I see u have only 11 pages indexed in Google http://www.google.com/search?q=site:recallmart.com so why not enable clean url's. Also make sure to avoid content duplication now.

I agree that a better logo would service your site well but the site itself is nice. Good soft colours. Good content, Great idea!
I agree that shortening your pages could also be useful. One way of doing this would be by using the thumbnail images and letting the viewer go straight to the product of their interest to read more without having to scroll through all of the other product information.

I agree, I am still tweaking the CSS I hope to clean this up soon.
