Website Review and Suggestions

All,

I've just been setting up a new website called www.homecontrast.com. This site sells uncommon home accessories in the UK.

We've spent a long time on the design of the website and we're reasonanbly happy with it now. There have been a few comments about the flash slideshow on the frontpage which doesn't seem to work for everyone. It would be good to know if any of you have any issues.

maybe a more descriptive tag line at the top. At first view I had no idea what the site was... had to click around for a while. A nice descriptive tag line should clear that up.

Good point. Someone else has suggested that too. I shall have a look at putting something on.

I absolutely adore your site. It's clean, visually appealing, and I would instantly want to purchase just about everything you're selling.

The flash slideshow worked easily for me, but maybe you should think about having a homepage where there's no flash slideshow. I.e. when I clicked to go back "home" I was directed to the flash show again. I don't mind because it's gorgeous, but some others might get annoyed.

One of the best "shopping cart" sites I've seen. Very clean, sleek look. I'm very impressed.

Please keep in mind that some Directories Editors may reject your site based on redirect from .com to .co.uk

Other than that, you have nice site.
