The main text is being covered up by a few elements. Also, my default background color is a dark gray, a little darker than your text gray. Which means that while I'm sure it looks fine on white, it shows up badly on mine. There are also people who use black backgrounds who would have trouble. I suggest setting both a background and a text color. So to sum it up, I couldn't read what you were saying on your site because half of it was hidden and what was there was too hard to read.
