"Please do not waste time joining, because you will be rejected if you are not a model anyways."
Rude don't you think considering your asking for a site review?

Sorry to offend. I was just being honest, I would greatly appreciate reviews, but the site is not looking for members,
That is what I should have said.
But thanks for your comment.

I have no idea what the point of the site is. look at pics of chicks? I don't get it.
And I have no desire to join a site like that. I don't live in mom's basement.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I don't get the point to the site.
Is there some purpose?
I never understood the modeling industry.
It's just devised to take pretty girls money.
1 out of a bajillion makes it to be famous.
They'd be better off getting serious jobs.

Young girls like it. glamorous and fun and gives them bragging rites. "I was a show model at the Pacoima 2nd Annual Lawnmower Convention". Like that...

Thanks Leto, Finally someone actually gave me a review. That's all i was looking for. I too tend not to like dark color schemes, but for some reason i went with this one. Thanks for the input.
FYI - brianluce and MattCoops -
Models get paid very well and need agents to get them work. I happen to own a swimwear line and there are lots of women that would like to get paid to model swimwear, bikinis and other clothing. There are also photographers out there that need work and like to get paid for taking pictures of people for magazines, websites and other print media. Do I really need to explain the purpose of something? This is a review board for crying out loud, give me a friggin review, don't just tell me you don't get the purpose of a Modeling agency. I happen to be associated with publishers of many major magazines like Maxim, FHM, Playboy... There are tons of women out there that would kill to get featured in one of those publications. Read the rules to the review board gentlemen.
benholten, I don't care if you get it, but thanks for telling me an opinion about the pics. I agree, they need to be bigger, thank you very much, i will make them bigger.

I don't like the color scheme and I think the pictures should be bigger. Your header looks cheap and tacky. If your logo is the face of your company, your company is a 300 pound snaggle tooth hobo not a hot sexy model. Other than that...I think a social networking website where models, photographers and publishers can meet is a really good idea. I think your marketing it perfectly too, tell people not even to bother trying to be a member cause they won't get in. Genius! Not every day are we told we can't join a website...lol. People will check back to your website to see if its failed yet. Funny how people want something more when they are told they can't have it.
Cheers

LOL, you are perfect Alien. That is a great review. Honest and informative. To tell the truth, I think the header sucks too. and the logo is gross. Now I have honest third party ammo to take back to the partners and tell them we need a redesign.
And as far as marketing goes, that was not my intention, but I do think that is an interresting idea. We are not worried about success or failure in this arena.
Thanks.

Hey look, perhaps I owe an apology. I did not mean to offend anyone here and I am sorry if I did. I was just trying to tell the truth. The site is for models only. I thought it would have been worse to get a bunch of people joining then having to kich them off. The models don't even communicate on the site itself, it is more for the publishers to see who we represent.
But thanks for all the input, I will be more selective with my words next time I ask for a review. Happy Holidays.

Hi Greg. I'm glad you apologized, I think you did come off a bit harsh and defensive. Sometimes a simple explanation of how the site is suppose to work can help people with their reviews. This is a social community for models and As a former model, I think it's a great idea. I also think you are on the right track as far as the redesign. I noticed you have a contest going in a couple different forums, good luck with that.
The site has a nice layout and I like the flash loaders and hovers on the pictures, adds a nice touch.
Again, good luck with your site redesign and remember to post back when it is complete so we can look at it.
Happy Holidays!

I don't get the point of the site too but it is not the main thing if I don’t get it someone other will. Bunch of people don’t get my site too and it is a freeware site, ok maybe it is because I live in Serbia and the people don’t speak English very well and do not now the meaning of word freeware. Let’s back to the main subject your site and your design.
I like black color my site is black too, and whole design is clean and looks good. The main problem of your site is the visitors. You don’t have them I check you’re ranking and it’s bad. You must do something about that.

Personally, I prefer it to be simple, considering what your intentions are and with the people you will be dealing with. I like the use of the new black: gray. If it's too dark, you can always lighten it up a bit or vice versa. Would it be possible to post grayscale/slightly larger images on the main page and then full view/color versions in their profiles? Also, I think the banners should be alot smaller..................just my humble opinion.

Thank you for all the comments and suggestions so far. I have dome a bit of a redesign with the help of two members here.
Thank you xpressions and steveorm3l .
The site is a social community for our exclusive models that help promote our new up and coming swimwear line the Moda Star Bikini.
The site is still in development, but I would appreciate any and all comments, good or bad.
I truely believe this is an awesome forum and I respect all your opinions.
Thank you,
GR

That site is SOOO similar to myspace it's actually so un-creative. Just take it down now, please. Either make it more unique or bag the idea now

Overall, the site design is good, but the header image just looks unprofessional and out-of-date. Its not awful or anything, but its the first thing people will see, so I think it could be a little bit better.
When I went to the site I wasn't exactly sure if it is open to the public or just for models or what. I am assuming that its only for a select group of people, in which case there would be no problem. Maybe I would understand more if it was my profession.

If you don't want people joining, then I'd probably take down the "Welcome Guest: Login or Signup" links at the top of the page, along with all the other signup links.
Also, this is suppose to be a bikini image site, right? Most (male) visitors would probably approve of larger images.
Plus I don't think you need the gender portion of the profiles there. Most people probably assume all the models are going to be female .
There's also tons of navigation links in the header and footer, respectively, its easy for visitors to get lost, not knowing where to begin. I'd probably cut the number down by half for organizational purposes.
Otherwise, good luck with your site
