It's been awhile since I did any site reviews--I know I've done more than three, but I should be doing a few more....

The link for this site is in my sig--I finally made it completely tableless, centered it, the only thing left is to fix the flash animation on the home page. But that'll have to wait until I get another copy of Flash. Sigh.

I've found out the hard way that it's actually harder to do a "simple" site than a complex one. But I think the work has paid off, what started out as just a fun project has stepped up a great deal.

Tableless, well done. That's a big step.

Now the bad news, it's breaking in Firefox unless I have the page full width of my widescreen.

Yikes. What could be causing that? I checked it in FF down to 1024x768 and it looked OK. It horizontal scrolled below that but didn't break like that. ????
Back to the drawing board--I'll try and reproduce it and see what's going on.

Edit: Ah, ha! I think I've pinpointed the problem. Thank you for pointing that out. Forgot to carry the two.

Actually, please delete this. Now that I see how badly IE has butchered this, I've got a lot more work before I resubmit it.

That last comment was actually directed toward a mod. It's kind of embarrassing when you put time into something, think you have it and discover too late that it's FUBAR.

LOL! Happens to all of us at some time or other. It's why I have 4 browsers on my PC, a Mac to check 3 more and an account with Browsercam for the rest.

Ha, ha! Finally, after many headaches and curses upon Microsoft, it is done! Which is not to say I might not tweak it some more, but it is presentable....

The whole point of this exercise was to make a very simple layout presentable. Did I do it?

Tim, I like the site. It seems to fit your personality. Not the 'simple' part because I think you are any thing BUT. The artistic part shows.

My recommendation is for more accessible navigation. I know you say you never use home keys and always use your browser but not everyone does.

Congrats on the Upgrade, the hard work has paid off.

(off-topic) As soon as I typed Upgrade I thought of that Beyonce commercial, "Let me Upgrade ya". lol That girl can dance.

Thanks! You know, now that I've thought about it, next, previous and home buttons might not be a bad idea on the child pages. Now I just have to decide how I want them to look....

Yeah, good idea - oh wait, it was mine, lol.

I'm sure you won't have a problem creating something simple to flow with your minimalist portfolio.
