Your site looks good but I would have to agree, a lot of wasted space on the sides. Thats real estate that you can use for example, put ebay product down the side or some google adsense ads.
Friendly Note:
I once had a domain called myebayscript.com. About 6 months after it was up and running, I got an email from ebay stating that I must change the name or they would take action. What I told them that I was not going to take it down but would let the domain expire of which they agreed. So I changed the domain to my-estore.net.
Before your site gets index and you start getting a lot of traffic. You may want to think about changing your domain name.
