Greetings Folks!

I have just created a new webmaster resource forum where webmasters can get reviews, help designing and developing their website, and much more! We have just started off so our current member count is Very low. We would sure like a boost of some members, and feel free to advertise your website/forum with us (or request a review!). We appreciate all who can become an active member.

Heres the address:
www.iweb-forum.com/forum

Im willing to do a post exchange to boost my member count. Pm me if your interested.

Thanks everyone!

Cheers,

Webmaster iWeb-Forum

Hmm not to burst your bubble or anything. There are already wayy to many of these websites out there, but good luck with it.

I reviewed just the design of your forum, needless to say I really do not like the color scheme. It's a bit too light for my tastes. Especially graphics like this.

Either way, good luck with your site. I tried making forum about a year ago and it was nothing, but a waste. You really do need to dedicated 24 hours a day for quite awhile to even get close to competing this other sites, ESPECIALLY in web design/master resources.

The blue is a nice colour, but too much of it.
When you visit the site what you first see is a sea of blue, not a good start, when you are launching a new site like this you need to "hit" the visitor with what the site is about or they loose interest quickly and leave.
The fading "info" bar I like, thats a good addition.
I agree with jdfreelance that there are alot of similar sites out there, it dosnt mean yours wont make it, you just need to work at it that much harder and try to find some unique area that you can promote.

Good luck.

You should give something away for free that's related to your website in your welcome email like I do on my forum. A lot of people will join your forum solely for the free giveaway. This isn't a problem because Simple Machines has a mass mailer which allows you to email all your member. After your forum's traffic picks up you can email all your members to get them to come back to your website.
