Not bad for a first 'go' at css. Atleast you're proactive and take the time to write css than people who slice up photoshop images. TWO THUMBS UP

Very good effort for a first timer, but still choice of color is not good especially the background gradient and the pattern behind the main content body imo.
I suppose it is not a complicated website so there are few places where I can screw up.
I do not have any good knowledge in Photoshop so I tried to make it visualy attractive as much as I can.
Oh er another problem I wanted solve is when validated the site it asked me to put doctype in it, so I did that, then I got lots of errors coz I didnt use XHTML which I dont know any.
Should I still leave as it is or take out doctype and I will get only 2 or 3 errors instead 33.

Leave the doctype as it is and try to remove the errors by correcting your code.
For a first site I will say great job. However; a few suggestions, first, I am not crazy about the colors, I would (IMO) would change the green in your header the www part to a softer green maybe like this.
Then I would use that green and the orange that you have already more throughout the page, maybe some of your columns or something. I will say blue is my favorite color but to much of any one color is not appealing. Hope this helps.
