I moved everything over from inet411.com to my new site - ComStarters.com.

I took everyones advice about the inet411 design and my partner completely re-did the design.

There is now a tools section with a ton of tools: web scraping, spidering, seo tools blah blah.. A scripts section, please submit any scripts or chunks of code you have laying around, you get a link back to your site in return.

If you find any of the tools useful let me know. If there is anything you think needs to be added to the tools or the site as a whole.

And finally what do you think of the design?

The link to the site is in my signature. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hm. Not bad, not bad. I'm not a big fan of the logo, though. It looks like Times New Roman with a few colors.

And ads ads ads ads! Ah!

Oh well. Good start, good luck with everything.

Redo the logo at the top, it doesn't look good. There too much blank space at the top of the page, remove it. Move the contact form to its own page. This site is supposed to show your portfolio, so don't put any ads on it, it makes you site look unprofessional. If you can't remove it from the whole site, at least keep the homepage absolutely ad free. Once you've made these changes come back for next round of review.

I agree with the others, the logo looks quite bad. In fact, I don't like any graphical element in your site. Do you do all your graphics yourself? If you do, I think it would be a time to get someone else to do them.

Please remove the blinking, horrible from right.

And seriously, if you have 75 page views you shouldn't have dozens of ads in your site. In fact, no ads at all! First create the content, first create the site, then think about adding a few ads. This is not the way to make money online, trust me.

Wow you guys are great. I was expecting the typical 'looks okay' response. Thanks for taking the time to really try to give advice. I will start making some changes and come back for round two!

Now, beside the design which I did none of. What do you think of the tools? Have you tried any? Do you find them useful? Which is you favorite? Should I continue to create more tools (I put a lot of programming work into them and don't want to continue if no one finds them useful)

I like the tools especially seo helper if you would add the link analyzer using the yahoo site explorer web api, it will be very useful, other then that i think right now you should first work on your site, once the site is done you can start working on other tools, you feel need of and is not available anywhere else.
