Hi there,

I have created a personal website at Geocities where I have uploaded my CV:
http://geocities.com/rafael_minuesa/

I have tried to make it as accessible as possible and I would like to have it reviewed, specially from a usability point of view.

Please note that if you plan to validate or use the XHTML and CSS code of those web pages, you need to remove first the extra code generated by Geocities servers.
The code is composed of JavaScript and it is very easy to identify because it is pointed at by the following comments:
  • "text above generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE"
  • "text below generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE"
After cleaning up the code you can validate it at the W3C Validator by uploading the file at the following URL:
http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_upload

I'd also appreciate if someone could point me towards another reliable and free hosting provider that does not add any extra code to the pages.

Thanks.

Reliable free host is something you most likely will not find. I suggest that if you are planning on using this site as a business site to make money as a designer that you get a web host. They are cheap for some of them to get started. You have a very nice design but the free hosted site thing will throw off potential customers. I was in the very same boat a little over a year ago myself on a free host trying to get clients. It does not work. You can try godaddy or some other really cheap hosting companies there are plenty of them out there.
