Website Review and Suggestions

I'm in the search for a news publishing system that'll allow me to add articles, reviews and write-ups on a online news site, anyone have a suggestion?

There are news themes for WordPress; both free and premium. ExpressionEngine Core also has good news capabilities. sNews is also a strong contender and is only 1 file (in effect).

I'm not too sure about requirements or needs but, something that will easily allow me to add articles, write-ups and reviews on my media/ news site.

i would personally use something like wordpress as there are many themes etc for this and is easy to incorporate your own modules into the site!

ExpressionEngine. It's free for non-commercial use. I use it on my own blog: it's very flexible and you can do whatever you want.

If you don't have mysql access, you can use CuteNews. It stores all the data in txt files.
