Here's some comments:

I like the look of the header - clean and simple. Perhaps adding a tag line to give visitors a quick idea of what the site's about.
As I click the items on the top nav menu, the width of the area that highlights orange is different on different pages. This looks funny.
The big flash boxes at top require Click to Activate. Consider using swfobject to pre-activate them.
The red headings mid page don't line up vertically - the last (Synapse Mirror) is lower than the other two. Also, the columns of links don't line up properly under the red headings (at least for me in IE7).
The color set-up you used for your Google ads fits in well with the look of the site. I like that a lot.
In general, I really like the look of this site and think it's off to a good start.

I like the look of the site, however I would rather see the whole line of text in the boxes rather than a shortened version to see if it is woreth clicking on. It took me a relatively long time to figure out what this site actually does....

I like it and it is clean. you could do with some text:

Header: Tell me what this page is and what I will get out of it.
Content: Explain what it is about, the goal of the site and what I should do. This will also be good for the search engines too.
You have a nice horiz design so you have room for some explanations.

Also are the three boxes rss feeds? then use the RSS icon and link to the RSS feed
