Not bad ... blue and green for sure look good together ... a centered clean layout ... I see you put your keywords in the first words of the website and I think that will help you a lot in the search engines ...
Anyway ... the site looks clean ...

May I join too ? )

First of all, good job. You appear to have lots of inventory and a whole slew of users. Excellent job on that. Also, it appears that you have done your SEO homework...I see your on the 2nd page of google for 'freelance projects.' ...so I wont touch much on SEO.

Suggestions:

When I first looked at your site, I felt blasted with all kind of information. I didnt know where to start. I was a little intimidated at first, due to all the different links that are provided.

How does it work? Adding a page that explains this (in common language) could help your signup conversion rate. Also, you can make your site a little more friendly by adding some graphics - to make the most important 'actions' you want visitors to take more visible. A major action you would want a user to make is to 'sign up' - maybe add a graphic above the 'total members' statistics for a 'sign up' action. In a few breif bullet points, tell the users 'why they should sign up'

I'm sure you know your competition - study them - Learn from them. Take a look at their information architecture and how they lay out their pages. What are the most prominant aspects of their design? Usability is a key factor in gaining and retaining customers. And there are some BIG players in this industry you are competing with.

Here is a quick example of how you can make some of the most important things more prominant in your design: Note that I did this very quickly ...just to show an example.

I hope this finds you well. Thanks.
