You definitely need a template until you have time to make your own (theme, template, whatever). I also always advise against high contrast reds. I never took a design course, but I never liked them and I read years back in college that most people don't like similar color combos, because it causes mental fatigue.

I think I'm going to stick with this design for a couple of weeks and see where it gets. If I don't get decent results I will change it.

I just changed the colors to blue. Any better?

Also, the design I'm using right now actually is a template I download from the SMF website. I just changed a few things on it.

You need to merge Sub-Forums, too many forum categories for such an unpopular community. Keep and simple, nothing fancy.

I think that there are too many categories at the moment, I would try to make it simpler until you get more action on the forum.

Hi i think it could do with a re-work, such as:

- Change the graphic at the top
- Reduce the number of categories
- change the smf theme
- maybe don't focus on the ads to much, until more users registered?
