Hey,

This is a website I'm working on, with the basic design in place.

http://www.stupidfaqer.co.uk/

I'm obviously working on content, and have plans for more interactive features such as a comment system, and the ability for people to add their own FAQs.

Critical feedback welcome.

Regards,
Hugh

I like the name - fun, catchy.
The font in the header is a little too hard to read IMHO and I'm not really into the camo background.
I think it would look better if you set the link colors so something other than the default blue.

Sometimes its hard to see the question I'm linking to. I see that it's highlighted in green but on some pages it comes to the top of the screen and on others it does not. If there's a way to make it always at the top of the screen that would bring a more consistent user experience.

The grey is a little monotonous. It could use a bit of jazz.

The AdWords are well placed and are not annoying or distracting.

Hope this is helpful,

Andrew

That's an interesting comment. It actually annoyed me when the questioned appeared butted up to the top of the screen, and I think it's nicer when it appears central. Obviously there are limitations to the positioning, as if the text is near the bottom of the page, there is currently no way I could make it appear any higher on your screen.

Perhaps the format of the FAQs needs revisiting, as they are pretty basic.

As for the Camo and the grey, I was struggling with the graphics, as I'm more technical than artistic. I'll have to keep my eye out for some inspiration!

Cheers,
Hugh
