You have a great start, but I think you could make alot of little improvements.
I think the top of your page needs something. Work your logo into a nice background or something. The pop-up free logo can defintely go. I know your site doesn't have any pop-ups, because I didn't see any pop-ups when your site loaded. The top of your page is your most valuable real-estate. Put it to good valuable use. That contact info up there at the top is also kind of simple. Perhaps work the contact into, the logo, and the live support thing into one unified and attractive graphic that stretches across the site or something like that.
Your navigation menu on the bottom seems a bit weird also. That's a whole lot of important looking information in the last place I'm going to look. Perhaps you could use some of the emptiness at the top for some of that info?
Your SSL info box is on the page twice, and that's kinda weird.
The text in the menus is kind of small and hard to read.
Under popular products you centered the text to a table and under the most viewed it's right up against the image. Your column for the image should probably be a fixed width, and the text in the next column would look good being a fixed distance away from that column.
Also, your navigation menu on the left extends much lower than the one on the right. Perhaps move your articles section over to the right so you have less "wasted" space. This would also pull up that bottom navigation menu and make it more visable to your users.
Overall you're off to a good start. It could look very profesional with a little bit of cleaning up.
