Website Review and Suggestions

Hi,

i am just in the process of changing my website Aviation Earth to CSS

I am using a free template

I need your suggestions, to make my website more interactive/better

if you have another template in mind please link here.

For starters, I'd go through it and find these pesky problems-
href="file:///C|/Documents and Settings/Farrhad/Desktop/CSS/Internet_Sharing/index.html" accesskey="v">I am using FF, and your text on the aircraft data page is scattered, including under images. Post the CSS so that we can see the whole picture. If you can get it tamed, it would be a very attractive site from what I have seen.

A great start, but a few more problems in IE 7 at least.
Your main content area extends up over the search box, so that it's partially obscuring both the search button and the text entering field. The same problem also occurs with the navigation menu on the right.

I think that your welcome text on the main page is also a bit akward. It would be easier to read a single well laid out paragraph in my opinion

Also having all of the same links that appear in your sites top nav menu re-appear in the footer seems redunant, and it makes it harder to see the unique links down there, but I'm just being picky now. It may be something to consider though.

The font in your about page is giant... why make it so large there? Again, nice well laid out paragraphs are easy and plesent to read.

The overall look of the site is very nice and clean though. The color scheme is very pleasent. Your site has a lot of potential, especially once you finish cleaning up the CSS problems.

I like the changes you made.

I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing from your CSS issues. It's possible IE7 is doing something wrong, but you're going to want to make it look good in all browsers. You're definetely going to want to get that fixed.

EDIT:
I'd suggest you also take a look at: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0 and make your site standards compliant. That will help with things rendering the same in different browsers. Get compliant, then start fixing for the quirks of IE and firefox

The word manufactures is too long for your fixed tab (Firefox 2.0.0.12) it is also misspelled. I like your template, just make sure it matches all of your other pages. Boeing.html for example. It's a big project, I know.

I'm seeing the same problem with the search box as mork29. I'm viewing the site in IE7

I like the feel of your website and the logo looks good too...
There are a few coding errors need to be corrected...

The navigation bar with should be increased coz, the link names and popping out a bit...
Also i feel the page user is on, should be highlighted in the nav bar instead of always home....
In the theory page....the name, email boxes at the right are not coming properly....

On the home page i feel the text should be enclosed in a box or something....

The site is good and quite infomative, it big but still if you could have the same theme all thru the website....
