Pros: Good colors. Easy on the eyes. Easy to navigate. I also like the elephant logo. Loads quickly.
Cons: Not to many. Maybe a little to plain. Could have a little more pizazz.
Overall I like that site. The colors are really gentle and easy on the eyes. This is very important for me when visiting a site. If the colors are to overwhelming all often just move on to a new site. The only thing I didn't like so much was the nav bar on the left. Didn't seem to flow with the site as well as I would have liked. Other than that this seem likes a very complete and well thought out site.

Simon,
This is a great site with great branding, clear and intuitive navigation and a good design. Very nice logo with the elephant. What purpose does the globe play then if the elephant is your logo (or vice versa as appropriate)?
Try adding a little padding on the right side of your main table. On my IE6, the text goes right up to the border.
In your portfolio, I would really like to be able to read some information about the site without having to click on it to popup a window.
I did find myself wonder what was the significance of the Macromedia icon you have in your left margin under your nav bar? I don't see any flash on you don't specifically mention Macromedia on your services page. It seems a bit out of place but would agree that you need some visual element below the nav bar.
Overall a well-designed site with good color usage and coordination. I would say that you should add some images to your site to spice it up some -- your pages lack life if that makes any sense.
Great job -- good luck with your venture.

I have no problems with the text, and im on IE6, but there you go. I like the site alot and the navigational system is different but yet user friendly. I dont really get why you have the image of an elephant. Im sure it has something to do with the site/slogan.

Great comments. I notice some more graphics added and that some of the code has been cleaned up with more use of styles. Well done Simon ! You have learnt a lot since those early days of your first site not so long ago. Now you need to go back and update your personal site so that it reflects your skills better.

Very nice site! Good colors, easy to navigate, and very simple. I don't think you have to change a thing

I have fixed the missing links.
I didn't understand the problem with the style sheets, I have never had problems with those two pages and you shouldn't be able to acess the style sheets from them. Please explain some more.

The broken links are not just for navigation, if you have a referrence to a style sheet on a page and the path to that stylesheet is not correct it will throw a broken link. You can remove the stylesheet call from the pages since they display well without the aid of the stylesheet that cant be found, or if necessary correct the call to the propper path...
I hope this helps

Just quick one (aloha) - how did you work out that there was a link to a stylesheet that wasnt there? ie it was broken. The reason it didn't matter was because the link to the correct style sheet was further down in the code & so therefore will override any previous style settings anyway (priority of references). But just intruiged how you tested for this ?
Simon - just take out ref to style sheet that is missing !

I am getting some gaps in the tables around the menu bar area..
Like the layout. Nice but not boring. Not to flashy and the color selection iv toned down without being... bland...

Your website looks good, has a different look. Great colors. I like your portfolio section also. Good work, no suggestions from me.

Hi there,
Pretty clean looking web site. At first, I didn't really like it but after clicking around on it a bit...I liked the it more and more. Mainly because it was so simple and straight forward. It is a little on the plain side and personally the lack of graphical change on the site is not very appealing but you get the point across pretty clearly.
I assumed that the images would link to somewhere but they don't so I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.
Hope that helps!
