ah, not that great a competition.
You know this is a webmaster forum right?
So why try to replicate it?

The header image is kind of nifty but weird since it's secluded off to the side... you should incorporate that kind of design and give the entire top portion that treatment (with sign in etc.). It would look a lot more professional then.

The Google search also seems a bit out of place (since it's the only other white thing on the page other than the header)... kind of distracting

The color scheme makes everything too homogeneous. Different elements need to be broken up visually.

well personally if your gonna compete with web master talk its gonna have to be a extremely good forum also you should consider getting rid of the banner at the top it doesn't go well with the sites colour scheme and the banner does not look good either.
