Website Review and Suggestions

hello all,

I am creating a clothing website, C&C please!

Some of the pages are blank or incomplete. But you will get the basic idea.

I don't like the colors very much. The pictures in the gallery are different sizes, some has borders, others has not. I think you should work a bit more on it.

yes, absolutely have some introductory text on your home page. I would also get a logo created for your site too, so that it has some brand recognition.

they only have borders when you hoverover them. This is a site marketed for women, what would be a more appealing color scheme?

This is not my company, so I cant just create a logo.

Its very basic, could use some more work. A logo (that isn't text) is really something you need to have. The navigation bar is a little cluttered too.

Plain but nice. I would get rid of the border on hover. That is annoying and takes away from the site.

It looks pretty good, but maybe a little too simple? I'd like to see a little more design go into everything. Not bad.

The border on hover makes the images move which I dont like, if your going to have a border on hover, have a white border already in place so they dont actually move on hover, or reduce the padding to account for the border space (or something)

I like the clean look but it could do with a little more colour, also the navbar along the top scrolls with the window size, this is probably intentional but from a personal perspective I dont like it when the site navigation moves.

I agree with Jeffrey
it needs an introduction. I think it also needs a logo, or something thats branding.
I think too that all of the images should be the same size and have 1 big one over it.

personally i think the website is way too simple you should consider
redesigning it again because it looks far to basic a good point about the site is it validates there's a lot of sites on the web these days which don't validate

It's basic but not cluttered, which is good. i think the homepage might need a little more work just to make it more in line with online clothing shops.

I would suggest fixing the image in the gallery. When you hover over them it makes all of the other images move slightly and makes it look real jittery.
