hi,

its a music community which allows unsigned artist to sign up and upload their work. it also allows people to sign up as member, which when fullly launch will allow full downloads, not just streams. Features include artist pages + paypal shop inergration, where earch artist can sell their own products, t-shirts, albums anything. Fans pages, community event calender, artist bloags,member blogs, fans blogs, forum.

Thats about it for now, so have a good look around and tell me what you think.

The first thing that came to my head was a new layout to be honest if a band wants their music on a site that will help them get known they will want to be on a good looking site. To me it looks a little old fasioned and it looks like one of the boring cms skins. But apart from that it looks like a good site with good potential and it looks like you know where you want this to go

I agree with the post above. Find a well developed color scheme and stick to it. Preferably an old school one. Even a retro scheme would work if done properly. For the text at the top, use a gif and create cleaner edges on the text.

Yes what kind of bands do you intend to have on there? Like rock bands?

well, i thought about making it just for bands, but all are welcome, get a good cross section i hope!

this site looks more like a blog than a community where bands can come and share their music. Plus the font size could be a few pixels bigger. If you enlarge them you will need to fix the padding between the content. You need actual seperation instead of just having white space seperating the content. White space does look good, but I think you're using too much of it.

The icons seem too plain. Maybe find some better ones? If you find some diff ones, make sure you stick to 1 theme and not have multiple themes for icons.

Your "About" page is messed up as well. the background isn't white(unless you did that on purpose).

You could also validate your site.
