Website Review and Suggestions

Hey guys, new project. You can read more on it here. Design is maybe 60% done, but this is the splash / logo I've whipped up. I rather like it, let me know your thoughts. I'll post again when it's launched. The site will be a niche content site containing information and reviews for adidas, nike, and puma soccer cleats.

It is a nice, very simple splash page...but what's the point of posting if there is nothing to review really?

But I can still make some suggestions. Do not keep the splash page. I have read from one of the Sitepoint moderators that splash pages are often a nuissance to the visitor. I would go straight to the main page.

Oh, I know, the design isn't coded yet. I should have said landing page, just for now. It's only temporary.
