I say its a 6/10

Ads blend pretty well with your site, just a little change will make it better like removing the outline of the images next to your ads.

but everything else looks good though!

i think the top one may be a tad aggressive....but, it's a risk you take....may pay off at times, other times, people would just go past it....

the pic of the books definitely draws attention...

im extremely new to web design, so, im learning as I go....just about 3 weeks ago, i started building my own website....and just recently started another one to complement the first....

I made sure I had alot of original content (took alot of time to write though...)....and, alot of pages of info.....I attempted to use a more agressive approach to the ads in certain pages that were buried in the site just a little....

All in all, I think the placement works.... :thumbup:
