Just wondering what everyone thinks of my portfolio and also feel free to comment on the designs which I have on there, any design that may stand out to you or just all of them in general.
I made this site around June 2005, over a year ago. I've been meaning to re-design it, I've come up with like two other design mockups for it, but most people I ask seem to like the current one better.
Anyway lemme know what you think and anything I can improve on to make it better. Thanks.
The testimonial is really out of place stuck over there on the left, good idea on it being dynamic though. Testimonials aren't likely going to be the main reason someone is going to be at your site. Actually, it's not so bad on the front page, but once you go to the first page of links or resources it really stands out because there's very little content to balance it. I would say front page only type thing. Place a link at the bottom of it for more testimonials.
On the first portfolio page it would also look good to have thumbnails of work from the different areas. Make the font size of those section links bigger as well as you barely notice them.

Huh? Why's that. Is it like invisible or just very low contrast to the white? It's a dark gray color and displays fine for me. Maybe it's your browser or monitor?
ohh i see. yeah for some reason that happens on the old firefox, so im assuming ur on the old version. update to the latest version and it'll be fixed.
Nice clean design. That guild keys image looks f'ng sweeeeet man. Are those your photoshop skills? Or did you just mess with some stock images?
As to the partners, you're wasting your time exchanging links with unrelated sites. (Partners.) I don't see how the search engines are going to benefit you for linking to (and being linked?) from sports forums... There's no relation. As a developer and graphic guy, you'd do better getting links from flickr groups, photography forums and blogs, writing web dev articles, etc.
Incidentally, you may care to further profit from my SEO affiliate + markup program. You just suggest SEO services to existing clients and get a commissions plus charge a markup on the work I do.

Heh thanks. And the Guild Keys it's actually just a screenshot of the game in the bg so no I didn't draw that lol.
And yeah I know most of those sites are unrelated, it was mostly just to get PR though, oh and those first few sites those are mine that's why I just have them there.
