I love the skin. It's nice and clean, but none the less really detailed... Anyways, I do have some suggestions
Typography
You definitely need more space between the lines of text... Also, work on your heading and subheading because they just don't look as good as the rest of the site.
Header
It's a bit too plain... A little more detail could do wonders. Or you can experiment with something to use that space, for example small IAB standard compliant ads or highlighting the best content (something like what Darren does on Problogger).
Imagery
I really feel there's a lack of images... The text just gets so plain. Get at least one "graphic" image for each article on the homepage to rest the readers eyes and attract them to each article. It gives your content more character! It's like books... Books need images to give the reader something to associate to the content as well as to give them time to rest there eyes. |
