I am wondering what I did wrong making this layout. I am not very good with using the float in css. Everytime I type the word float everything goes bad . Everything was going fine untill I had more content than the navigation side bar. Is there anyway to get the content to push the the container down farther?

Also is there anyway to make the navigation take up the whole width of the container once it is expanded far enough to fit the content?

Sorry for the maybe newbish question and if this is in the wrong section.

Oops, need a link for you to see what I am talking about. http://myspacemagic.net/newone/commentimages.php

And I know the site does not align properly in IE but I will sort that out later since it is only the little details that don't align. But I will fix it once the site is up and running. Thanks in advance for the assistance ~John

All looks fine to me on both IE and mozilla as well. You might want to use a different color for links in the side navigation, may be white or something in contrast to the background color.
Bye

Thanks for the replys. I decided to go with a scrolling div since there would be a ton of empty space if I made everything expand.
