Website Review and Suggestions

Hi. Just started this website this month. At the moment, there are only a few authors and articles reaching close to a hundred.

its at www . articleszoom dot com, you can click on my sig. i would like to know the loading speed also.

basically, this is a free article publishing site, helping webmasters to get targeted traffic to their own website.

Looks like you put a lot of work making categories. There are so many of them!

You might want to design a different template though... This one looks too simple.
May be if the right column has a darker color, the logo on top stands out with an image, or there's more stuff in top header .
I think you kept it simple because of the loading speed. A little more images/colors won't hurt.
Your site loads fast!

If I am right, the script you are using comes with some free templates as well. Try some.

I dont like it when the ad bar tricks people into clicking it instead of navigation. I would focus the design more on usability, and not planting ads in people's face. There is nothing wrong with advertising, but I dont feel like your site has the user's interest at heart. It feels like a straight adsense play to me, and I probably wouldn't use the service because of that. Maybe integrate the ads a little less conspicuously? I don't know. The site just feels spammy to me.

I hope that you have a great deal of success online, but I also believe you should earn it by delivering a quality resource. Your site doesn't feel right to me. I hope you dont take this as just an attack. Instead, I hope that you take this feedback in the spirit that it has been given - an honest suggestion to redesign your site with a focus on your users, instead of your advertisers. My $0.02.

Hi robhustle, thanks for your honest review of my site. Actually, my aim is to trick the user into reading the ad *and then* click if the ad appeals to them, but it's not my intention tricking them into clicking. That's even better :P

Okay I don't want to piss people off just for a few cents - I'll re-adjust some of the ads. Thanks again.
