Nice Adsense placement... I was skimming your content and could not decipher your affiliation. It all made sense when I found your post stating your being a "square on the fence conservative." But now-a-days a conservative does not always equal republican. Conservative democrats have the D's moving more to the center than ever before. I guess that's what I would classify myself as a fairly conservative democrat (I know oxymoronish). I like your your ability to project both sides without slanting one. I think, having that aspect in your content will allow you to build a more diverse reader base, rather than just left wing nuts or vice versa.
Very nice blog, I've always wanted to start a political blog (which you've given me even more inspiration)... But, if and when I get it up and running, I'll be sure to link to yours.
