I bought this site last month. Signup is free, and you then enter domain names to monitor. We check your domain names ever 15 minutes, checking the website, ftp, smtp, and ssl to be sure they are all up and running.
If the script sees that your site is down, you get an alert email. You also get an email when the site goes back up. You can monitor as many sites as you want.
For an annual subscription of $13, we'll send the alerts via sms to your cellphone.
I had to re-code a bunch of the site. Paypal was not integrated, and I thought some of the code was just a little sloppy. For example, it required register_globals to be on, which is an unacceptable security risk to me, so I had a lot of clean up work to do just to get the scripts to work correctly.
Anyway, please take a tour, let me know what you think, and feel free to sign up and test it out. I need to know what bugs are still there.
