Hello I would like a review of *the site is in my sig*. Our main goal is to make money. So far my partner and I have made ~$50 total since its launch January 7th. We have had 1600 unique visitors with 5000 pageviews.

I am requesting your opinions on what we should change/do.

and then, Bam, google bans you.

be careful with that.

The header is way too big. its half of my display on 1440x900.

add some padding. the stuff on the right feels like i should have a scroll bar to the right.

and, um, how about adding some content...

A big affiliate add on the home page with "enter your email to continue" above it.

I would say it sucks, at least the home page, that is as far as I went.

Much of the site seems to be not functioning? I'm only seeing 2 videos posted (and hte archives don't work). Also I'm fairly certain you're violating Google's TOS with every single ad placement.

Seems like you have a decent amount of unique visitors - you just need to "convert" them.

1st off I would get rid of the big "in your face" popup when first entering the site. I would bet it's doing more harm than good.

2nd I would add some content (ie articles) about relevant topics in that niche. Maybe even some reviews related to guitar gear and accessories...

Then I would tactfully weave affiliate links into those articles. Links to guitar videos, guitar accessories, songbooks, etc. from Musicians Friend, Sam Ash, or Zzounds.

Just my thoughts...

Every 5 pageviews that affiliate ad pops up, there is a link back at the bottom. Would you recommend something different?

I'll read up on the tos again. The archives are working for me in IE and FF
