looks pretty default

I would work on the smaller text in the logo and kill the "powered by vb" in your title tag.
it's a good start, keep it up

I would have to agree ... it does look "typical" "default" but unless you know coding really well there is nothing you can do to change that (although there are some good templates out there for forums.

The only other suggestion I would have is to make the logo smaller. It takes up a good portion of the screen and really you want to be showing something that might catch someones attention (which would be the thread titles) other than that ... looks good ... great start ... sure it will be a successful forum!!

First off, add some anti-aliasing to that logo to take away the rough edges. It is so-so like that, but to really be taken seriously I would consider a custom skin.

Looks simple and good, just I don't like the register toolbar moves with the mouse. Also, I check the traffic, it is growing so fast. Good job.
