Again, another update to a tile contractor website. Trying to make more streamline and easy to navigate.

What do ya'll think?

Does the contact page bring a call to action to have the user fill out our form?

Hi MattCoops,
Site looks nice on my end. Nice color scheme and simple layout makes it easy on the eyes.

It seems like you are going for the simple look but jazzing up the Cupan Custom Tile and Paint may not hurt, unless you wanted to keep it simple text for SEO purposes.

For the Contact page, maybe make the "Call us at:" just as big of font as the "(704)493-7407"

Matt

Hello Matt, just visited your site and it's looking great. I would suggest putting a header design, and move your logo and title on it and it's good to go.

Nice site. I'm actually in Charlotte, and I'm about to do a tile job of my own. I'd hire you, but I'm broke...

the site is looking far better now.. the color scheme is soothing. in my opinion (thatz entirely mine and may be iam wrong) there should be some dynamic content on the web site also. a better flash presentation should be there and a sample floor design where user can log in and put his desired tiles on that sapmle floor. so that he will have a general feeling of how the tile will look

regards

I want to create a "Design your Room" page. And let the user pick out a floor tile and paint color. But it seems like I'd pull my hair out trying to create it.
For now, it's been working sending people to the site to pick out the tiles they'd like to see. It eliminates having to guess what they may like and lugging a whole bunch of samples back and fourth.

looks good! very clean and attractive.

your logo and the bbb logo should be saved as gifs or 8-bit pngs, not jpegs.

you have a typo here:
Whether you're home
should be 'your'

they will be smaller filesize - up to about half - and they won't have those blotches (i.e. jpeg compression artefacts) in them (look at the orange C for example)

jpegs are made for photographic images
gifs are made for things just like logos with a limited colour palette (i.e. less than - or easily reduced to - 256 colours, without complicated gradients, and areas of like colour. try it with the original images and save them as gifs and you'll see.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted, but one thing that bothers me is that on the contact page "Choose a charlotte contractor..." Charlotte needs to be capitalized.
Other then that it looks great, still looking at it though...

Dear Matt,

I like the concept of your website design with nice tiled background image. For quick contacts I must say if you can put the contact no. below the heading on the homepage will be more beneficial for you. When you open the website on 800 pixels by 600 pixels resolutions the website having the logo sort on the left side and text. Customer needs to scroll down to find out the contact details. one more thing if you can place the bathroom photo which is little below of the content to the left top below the heading of the site will be more beneficial.

Regards,

A great site that not only looks good but invites visitors to explore what you have to offer. Love the tile backgound - really in keeping with your product/service.
You ask about your your contact page, I would be drawn to use it I'm just sorry I'm over here in the UK and cannot avail myself of your service - unless you go international lol.
Well done and good luck.

I have been following links around your contact section(s) and have yet to find a form to fill out. Maybe I'm still thinking like an installer rather than a website designer but, at this point I'd just pick up the phone and call. Overall; however, I like the simplicity and the go-green subliminal. Please, change the word combo to combination. The former is OK among friends but, you don't know me yet. First impressions can be permanent, especially if they are also last impressions. My immediate response was to glance about the page, in part looking for the form, another reason was the absence of a sense of restriction or immediacy. The center tended to want my attention because I assume that's where I should start getting to know you. The image layout is well done in that I can view things a bit at a time without being swamped by a dazzling array of flashy graphics and animation. My sense of it? This work in progress shows great promise of a job well done should I hire your company. I would call you.

Thanks VOID Pheonix,

I will make the "combo" edit.
And did you not see the form on contact page? What do you mean you linked around to find it?
I made sure that pretty much every page has a call to action and a link to contact.html
