http://GuitarGarage.tv I am starting to get the hang of CSS (I think), and have actually validated with XHTML transitional. Now, I am looking for other suggestions on how to better present the video content. I am pretty set on Windows Media, because I plan to eventually stream live content, as well as pre recorded clips.

At the moment, I have one clip up, and working on cutting and encoding about another four hours of music (How's that going you ask? Not too good! Having issues with my PC and Adobe at the moment). You can either go to the music page, or click on the Garage door to access the clip.

And if you have any other comments or suggestions on the site in general, I would really like that feed back as well.

Hi,
I am not a huge fan of your rollover for your menu. The entire navigation shift each time you roll over it. Try just changing the color, not the style of the text, on each rollover.

Also, spread the content out closer to the edges of the table, like where the "All across America, you can hear the music blasting out from garages. Dedicated hopefuls, wannabes, and some that have no business picking up a musical instrument at all. " text is

Matt

I'm not sure about the expanding text either. I have had video disappear when rolling over the menu, and the video is the part I am more worried about.

Anything else?

Ok, thanks Justin, that is where I was concerned. I thought it was maybe on the cheesey side, but eh. I still think it might be cleaned up a bit, but don't know for sure how.

Let me clarify what it is I am eventually hoping to accomplish- I want a user to be able to either click on the main page to view a predetermined list of videos like a play list, or live webcast, depending on what is going on. When on the music page, they would click on individual videos to view in the iframe.

I am still trying to figure out the details, such as how to handle different bandwidth speeds of the users, and whether to offer a different format. Again, I am planning to use windows media to stream live, so I would like to keep it across the board.
