The overall look IMHO is good (als...in my IMHO it looks like an affiliate site at first glance due to the template used) but it all goes wrong when resized in IE, the top navigation bar is also misaligned without resizing.

yes the design is not very good, it looks like those old 1998 year design

you can consider redesigning it, there are some good templetes at templetemonster for 50-60$

This site does look a bit like a cookie-cutter template but I have seen worse. My main criticism is there is way too much text and too much scrolling. Increase the size of the headings for the paragraphs and make the headlines more interesting and scannable.
