Website Review and Suggestions

I've gone with yet another design at BLD Hosting. Decided to totally recreate the design, and of course, recode the website in CSS

So far I've only modified the Home page, and there is still much more work needed.

The Free Ice Cream was a simple trick to get your attention

Once again, there is no free ice cream. lol

I think it looks good; however I would try and do something with all that black space in the middle of your body area.

P.S. I want my Ice Cream!

Honestly, that sound coming from you site every time you change the page is quite annoying. Maybe the first page is fine but i'd disable it for every other page that follows.

I will say the prices on the left hand side have a pretty effect, but you're just rearranging the same information on mouse over. I expected to see more details or something useful.

The music is intrusive. If I wanted to listen to music I'd go to a music site. When I'm surfing I'm usually listening to music, so when sites randomly play music it just sounds like noise and annoys me. I'd rather close your site than pause my music.

The middle is so empty - there's actually more empty space than there is information. Many potential customers only stick around for a couple of seconds, and much of your prime real estate is blank.

If I were looking for hosting I would not purchase it from you because your site comes across as a manufactured (read: template) site that could have been slapped together by anyone who doesn't know the first thing about hosting. I don't even see testimonials. The wording of your site also comes across as very odd, and makes me think you really don't know much about hosting:

"7 Day Money Back" [Guarantee?]
"natural disasters and manifestations" [ghosts? what?]
"All plans have a distinguished price" [distinguished as in what? unique?]

I did go a little beyond the scope of your request, because I'm trying to honestly give you my first impression of your website, which includes things outside of the scope of design, such as the actual information presented.

Also the free ice cream mention was very smart

Well, thanks for the review. There is a bit of content lacking ... ran out of creative ideas : ). I understand that most of it is actually blank, so i'll get working on that.

Nice site, and it looks like a good service also.
But i dont like the funny mousover effects on the prices, it dosent serve any recognizable purpose.
The black space could go. But the content all looks good.
What is the deal with the music on loading? Whats the point?
Other than that the site is sickass, and i will definately consider using bld hosting when i have a site i think deserves paid hosting! It looks like a great service.

I like the site. Especially the menu rollovers, very original. The rollovers under the menu don't point to anything. I guess that's under construction hm?

Yes, I'm still creating all of the necessary pages, but I want a nice sturdy design, on which to base them all. So thats why there may be some borken links in the flash header.

As for the prices, maybe I could incorporate a bit more information, upon rollover.

Nice job it's looking pretty good. As mentioned above do something with that black space, that's a major turn down, maybe put server specs or something beside each different server, or price.
