Website Review and Suggestions

This is a new and improved (I think so at least

) design. The website has been only for some time and is really starting to gain popularity, so I suppose it is better to settle on a design now before the audience got used to the old one.

Anyone can upload files with size up to 500 megabytes, no registration is required.

A quite unique and new feature (I have not seen this on any other free file host) is that it is possible to upload several files at once and get a page where all the files can be downloaded directly. This means that if a person has uploaded several files (such as split-archives), only one link will have to be provided for others to download all the files.

Please let me know what you think on both design and features.

The features seem pretty neat. In terms of the design here are some suggestions:

In terms of color the design is a bit boring. There is a lot of gray (which isn't bad) but there really isn't another bright contrasting color to mix with the gray.

Blue is fine. . .but I would suggest using a different, perhaps darker or bolder, shade of blue. . . especially since the text when small (step 1 . ..) is a bit bright.

The layout is fine . .. nothing wrong there.

I would also suggest creating or buying a strong logo to really build your brand.

As skinny said the features would be highly useful. The features sound fun i will have to try them out.

Now onto the design review:
There is a ton of gray on the homepage. The light colored blue for "step 1, step 2, its unlimited" make it a bad contrast to the light gray. Its hard to read. I would choose a differnt color for the links like maybe a nice red. The gray would be fine to keep you just need a darker color for the links. Also i see a giant blue box? i suppose a logo is going to go in there? if not that needs to be taken out, dosent look good.

Thank you for the two reviews. The blue box is definately not there to stay! It's space reserved for an advertisement.

its clean and to the point, in a small space too....
Great for the poor guys with low res vga

the site really looks good... from my monitor it kinda looks small.
