I like the design and layout. It looks nice and clean. I like also the color of the site. One thing I want to suggest is to improve more the logo design.

first thing i notice... the logo + the italic comic sans font... better enhance it.
the welcome note - too far right... better set some margin. and you have lot's of free spaces...

I observed these....

1. Footer is incomplete. "Best viewed in 1024x768resol" BTW, why do you need that text? 1024 * 768 is the majority resolution.
CopyRight Reserved © UBConsultant.com --Add year... It should have been Copyright (c) 2008 UBConsultant.com All Rights Reserved.
2. Logo is not very clear.
3. Marketting Summit... Remove an extra 't'
4. In About the Founder, the photograph is not very clear. use a better photo.
5. No contact form????

Cheers,

The colors of the borders and the headers just dont work. Dark blue on light blue is a no no. Dress the website like you would want to dress yourself (obviously formally and matching.).
Some of the text color on the bottom of the homepage is just colored wrongly. Dont like it. Does not blend well. And like vivekar said the copyright should be "Copyright (c) 2008 UBConsultant.com All Rights Reserved".

best regards,

One thing I'll try to say constructively is that there are way too many colors going on.

Hi
great effort and good luck with your future projects.

I recommen you look into web standards and css based design , should help you in the long run. You want sites to look good on all browsers and all resolutions.

Maybe fine tune the graphic details a bit, the little jpg's like the marketing summit etc.. shouldnt take too much time.

All th best
S.

@Arleigh - thanks for your compliments. I know, the logo somewhat looks out of place but actually, it was provided by the Client and they wanted to keep it this way. I even proposed of changing it but they dont want that.

@arcel - for the logo, read the above reply. And margins are set..infact there is quite some space to the right. There is so much space on site because the client provided very less data

@wilmotts - Sorry abt that alert/virus, I dont know what made that happen. The problem has been rectified

@vivekar - Thanks for the points you mentioned. They are very much valid. Cant do anything about the logo as it was provided by the client. Will make the mentioned changes in the footer. Founder pic changed. I want to add a contact form but I have never used it and am yet to work on php. So how can I include that and redirect whatever data is filled to a mail id? help me if you can

@thegeekone - thank man....background colors are as the client desired. But will change the footer color...and also the message. Any other feedback..do post here...

@jacob - is it? I guess you are refering to the diff shades of blue...
I mainly tried to stick to blue and white...

@sambkk - thanks a lot for your compliments. will surely to go through standards and optimize the images further...Any other feedback welcome..

Header is two shades of blue. Left of the header (Body) is another shade of blue. The main section (where your content is) Is yet another shade of blue (4th) that blends into an 5th, aquamarine blue. You also have white, orange, fuscia/purple (where it says "10/12/07" and black

That's 8 colors at a glance (w/o mentioning the purple circular design lines on the left)

Hi,
Im new to the forum and this is my first post (although Ive been webmastering for a few years now).

Couple of comments...

1) Try increacing your call to action in the copy:

Try changing:
Market is changing fast. To help you keep track of the changing marketing scenario and act accordingly UBC is the solution provider.
To:
Due to current economic climate the `xyz` market is changing at a rapid rate. In order to keep track of, and react to, these changes you need a professional in your corner.
Well its your lucky day because UBConsultants are here to help you. With a background in `xyz` investments for the last `x` years we are uniquly positioned to help you turn your financial goals into a reality.

2) You should do a little work on the graphics, looks a little cheap (a little like wordart).

3) Finally the top menu bar seems to blend into the background. ie. Page background, area background and text colours are all similar colours. Try to use some contrasting colours, and perhas some CSS a:hover's to get those links to stand out. After all the goal is the contact us button.

Cheers
aReJay

P.S. Please forgive my poor spelling, its late and I'm trying to write 3 constructive posts to get people to look at my site.

@aReJay - I totally agree to the body content change you have specified. It would be even more helpful from SEO point to view but the problem is the content has been provided by the client and there's no way they are goint to budge from that point.
Graphics...you are commenting on the design or the output quality? Whichever..some tips or references are welcome.

@vivekar & TheGeekyOne - Footer changed.... thanks

@Jacob - Yup...man...I agree that a lot of colors are going around, since the client is satisfied and happy with the current website I would let it be entact but would take care for my further projects

Anything else would be helpful...
