Hello

I have recently made a new site about cars from ireland ( sales and things like that), i've made a good design in my opinion, site is going well. Stil, I don't want to let him just like that so I am asking for some good suggestions. About design, structure and things like that.

Here is the site: Cars Ireland

Any good opinion is welcomed.

Regards,
Marius

Well in Safari there are a few messups. The top image doesn't align with the background and is about 3px lower than the repeating top stripe. The login box goes outside of the background image, and is there supposed to be some sort of border around the main content? I can almost see one but not quite xD

Aside from the small compatability errors, it seems nice. I like that the top image is green. Green for Ireland, duh! Though I wish you did a bit more with the color elsewhere. Aside from the green at the top it's all a bit monotone. Incorporate that color somewhere else and it'll look fantastic! I think that bottom menu button thing could be moved to the top. Who's going to read all that text on the front page? Not many people, I can tell you. That stuff's important too, so make sure people can see it. I think it's pretty good though =)

the site looks good, I looked into joomla before but could never remove the 'reported by' bit, I think joomla is designed for news websites

Your XML statement is out of place, it needs to go BEFORE the doctype declaration. However, having that in there will then throw IE into Quirks mode, which you don't want. So unless there's an absolute need for it, remove it entirely.

You've got your link to your stylesheet out of place , it needs to go in the <head>. Validate your code, you'll see these errors.

I think the CARS FOR SALE sign should be facing the opposite direction. It looks at the outside of the page in the way it is now.

Heya,

Ok nice layout, however i dont think your logo goes too well... it actually ruins your site because it doesnt match the smart style of the other parts of the site.

I would think about designing a new one or getting a competition going on here to find a new logo i think some people on this forum could make you a great one!

Hope it helped

Nice work by the way

Chris
