This is a self promoting website design for an 'alternative' model and photo editor.

A friend of mine from wix.com that helped create the basic template asked if I have any suggestions on how to improve it,
so I told him ill ask around.

Well?

Please forgive any weird typos. My hands aren't cooperating tonight.

First Impression

"Pink and black...interesting."

Design

It's structured. Your color scheme feels kind of..."off." I'm not quite sure how well pink and gray go together...I think maybe you need to stick with one consistent pink color and focus on the grays? ...and the fact that the background image has to load.....it's not good design. Use css, and just embed the image. The flash is cool, but SEO wise, you want text links. Also, it feels like there's so much of it that the site just doesn't "stand still." And the loads on every page feel irritating. Your header isn't clickable. Oh, and "powered by Wix.com" is ugly sitting down in the bottom corner.

Content

The copy is very professional, but kind of choppy. Try to make your sentence structure flow more. As for the pictures, the image system on the portfolio page goes way too fast! And the images pixelate really badly when you go full-view. Also, your credentials? They shouldn't be in flash. Also, they don't give a big enough picture to give good samples of your work.

Would I......hire you/use your work/whatever

Umm...don't need a model, and I'm not big on the fashion industry, "lookit me!" kinda stuff. So...ask someone else. I dunno, do you do birthday parties? (jk)

Overall

Less flash! Sites cannot live on flash alone! You can keep the butterfly if you'd like, haha. Think about it this way, people don't visit sites for hours unless it's like myspace or youtube, etc. If they have to wait for your page to load, they're moving on.
