-i think it could use a much more dominant header
-home button should be the first
-there is alot of white space in the first half of the page that could be eliminated

i think these 3 things would improve its overall look

I'd improve your English a lot, because otherwise, it becomes not engaging enough . A few few atrocities (OK, maybe a little harsh....

Obvious some are colloquialisms, but it's still annoying.
Interesting viewpoint; but I can't help feeling the mix of home (i.e. about family, the Army) and web (i.e. reviews) is not ideal.
