Here is a project - www.iwantwallpapers.com I've been running recently. There you can find thousands of quality desktop wallpapers in different resolutions.

Wallpapers are meaningfully categorized or alternatively a powerful search tool is installed just on the right top hand side.

One more thing: the site is updated daily!

It is a nice clean site.
The images seem to make the site load kind of slow.

first of, let me thanks for your feedback. I am aware of the slowness of the site and we're looking into this problem. We've recently noticed this and considering changing our hosting provider.

If you're suffering from a severe slowness, please let me know.

A good site with plenty of content, but do you have the copyrite for all of the images. If you don't I would advise you to be very careful, especially for those covering the upcoming Olympics.

Very nice site! Good use of colors, images, and shadows. The javascript works nicely and load time really wasn't an issue for me.
