The site is very plain. It definitely doesn't look 'web 2.0'. The logo is OK but the layout is very square and restrictive in my opinion. The side menu could use some kind of background images to make it stand out. The fonts could also use some work as well.

I assume the focus of the site is stocks and finances but there is nothing that tells me that. Maybe an about section would be good.

The entire right-hand column does nothing for the site. Most visitors don't care about site statistics and the tags section really doesn't tell us anything, plus they all link back to the home page.

Shouldn't there be a stock ticker somewhere?

I agree with FiZix on this one. Your stats has no bearing on the subject of the site. I seems as though you are just providing latest financial news.

The color scheme and logo may be interesting to a younger crowd, but if you are after a professional crowd, it probably should have lighter colors.

Hope this was not too harsh.
