It's a forum and appears to work so that's good.
The header image is way to big.

I agree with MrTom-UK, the Headre is too large. Also, there is no need ti add "index.htm" to the URL...it is automatic. Just the domain will do.

the forum portal gallery buttons are hard to read, yellow and grey don't stand out... try adding a RGB color in with the mix somewhere to draw those rods/cones

The first thing I noticed is how incredibly slow your website loads. Second thing is your website color scheme is ugly. I'm shocked you have as many posts and people on that forum as you do.

Because the users arent analyzing the site...

Search for a middle eastern color swatch, and apply them throughout, links and all.

Remember it's the "idea" behind a design, not the actual design.
