Well I've been thinking about making this kind of forum for a few years now, and this Friday I bit the bullet. Its a community dedicated to collectible gaming. Members can talk about and trade their games for free.

I had the domain for a few weeks and it was just sitting there. Friday I bought the VBulletin software, an aftermarket skin, made the header, thought up the topics and tweaked the code a bit. Its pretty much ready to go except for a few things I still want to change. I am having some trouble with how I should promote the site, as I haven't advertised it anywhere yet so it is still bare of users. Let me know what you guys think. Any comments appreciated.

nice domain, spiff up your colors a lil and you'll do well.... if you market it right

You should add the text Raged Gamers or something but otherwise, it's nice

the site looks kinda bland. maybe do some more tweaks and custimize it for gamers. doesn't look like a gamers forum. other then that, congrats on your new forum.

I agree about the site looking bland. And It's also a good idea if you furnish at least two threads in every section so people won't be discouraged to join. You might need the help of a few online friends to pull this off.

Nice site idea, like been said before by other it does indeed look a little bland. I would attempt to get a different template or at least modify the one you have and add a different color scheme.

I'd say after that, just work on SEO and promotion, and your forum should take off. Also try and offer things other sites don't, that way people choose your site over theirs.

change the colors and ADD SOME ACTION to the forum header.... ITS RAGED GAMER,, right now its a little bit boring... give it some Life

your message should not be "there is some gamers forum here" It should be like .... YEAAAAAAAAAAA HERE IS THE AWWWWWSOME! GAMERS FORUM DUUUUDE!!!! add some graphics and .... stuff you know what i mean!

I like it, although I really don't think the banner really goes with the site.

You need a grunge layout, with something that screams RagedGamer at the top.. with bulletholes maybe, that reminds me of games..

Well I've updated the site a little with a new banner, and soon to update the forum icons. I know I still need more posts in each category but its hard getting members at this time.

Elias3c, what is Project Wonderful and Bannerex? I just bought some stumbles and social bookmarkings but that barely did anything. Is there a service I can use to hire posters but who won't spam the board?

the forum is nice i guess there are lots of people will join that forum in the future..
