Website Review and Suggestions

Here is my temporary portfolio website until I have time to create a full one with blog and such. Any comments/criticisms would be appreciated.

I know some of the header text and checkmarks are jagged. I haven't had time to fix them yet. And the empty space in the top right is where the nav for the full site is going to go so I don't need comments about that.

EDIT: I am aware that its buggy in IE6, haven't had time to fix it yet.

Perhaps I am a bit thick but it wasn't immediately obvious what your site was about.
Where at the moment you have "Full Site Coming Soon" you might like to replace this with something descriptive. I suggest something along the lines of "Web Site Design"

Having said that I liked what you have achieved so far and was pleased to see that you are standards compliant.

Yeah there will be a description of what its about and stuff on the full site. This was just thrown up to host some of my samples to be shown to potential clients. I'm not expecting people to stumble upon my site via google or something yet.

I think you should change the fonts. I find them difficult to read.

Looks good, like the color scheme. The brown is very easy on the eyes.

aldor is right about not being able to tell what it is directly, but other than that the site looks great. good job
