The concept is good. The logo requires work in the header, it looks as though two people are kissing behind a mic.
The header itself needs a re-think it's not eye catching and some of the type being blurred does not work ask in forums for help on this for a few $. Colouring is ok but you need to make the icons stand out more.
I would suggest a bit of information at the top explaining what you are looking for and perhaps put one of the good artists in a spotlighted position saying something like "can you do better" "we want to see it". How about a prize for the best entry for the month?.
The panel colours need to compliment each other more, it almost looks like two sites in one. darken the main body to meet the side panel and keep just the smaller boxes which contain the media lighter.
Riverdance box is out of line to the rest. Can you use youtube vids with your logo on them?
These may seem like negative comments but as I said to start the concept is good, look on the comments as constructive, that's everyone's not just mine and you will be onto a winner, best of luck
