Website Review and Suggestions

Made this site with all the adventureparks and themeparks in the uk with little information on each, map of the area and direct links to the sites, just wondering if you would use it or actaully think anyone would use it as im just not sure

Maybe you want to touch on the color scheme. Kind of looks gloomy to me. The information provided on the various spots could me more informative and helpful. Felt explanations were not really helping much with jus some pictures scattered around.

Example fantasy Island. You just mentioned names of various rides without describing what they actually are. Maybe you want to rate the scare level of each ride out of a scale of 5. Suitable for what age and so on.

Also found this repeated for all intro of the parks.
"This page is information aboutFantasy Island. This page has information ofFantasy Island, Directions and also a link to the officialFantasy Island Website Where You can Find Out More Information."

I don't know if this intro is part of your SEO work but you would really want to consider changing it cos it doesn't display professionalism in it.

If I was someone coming into UK looking for themeparks, I would visit a site like yours provided it fills in the unknown for me.

Browsing in Firefox on the information page, the menu goes outside the template. Other than that I would say fix the broken maps on a few of the pages, and finish adding some more info on the parks. Your off to a great start!

The rating I would give the site is 5.5 Fair - improvements needed but not too bad.

if you are going to give direct links to sites, make them clickable proper links as making surfers do the cut and paste is a bit annoying

Its needs color,images and a better layout. It looks like a WAP website for a cellphone at the moment.

I think that you should focus more on the design and layout of your site it looks simple to me! just make some adjustment on the color scheme too...

It looks good though it really needs more improvement on its design and color scheme. You also need to add more content on your site.

need a more vibrant color scheme for sure. the dark is depressing! rollercoasters are fun!

also, the google ads look like main nav. this might be good for clicks but not good for the user.

maybe you can extend this to regular parks as well. even zoos!

Very useful site - you could get plenty of visitors.

Agree that the scheme is too dark. Parks should be fun so make the site look fun.

Biggest criticism though is the punctuation and grammar.

Seriously, get someone to proof read what you've typed and correct all the errors.

The writing style is that of Vicki Pollard. That's fine for a forum but not for a home page. It will lose you a lot of visitors.

Here's a couple of other things you could try to make the site more useful / sticky to visitors.

Try and use some kind of voting / comment system where visitors can rate each park. You could split it into something like quality of rides, length of queues, value for money etc. Give users buttons to click and a chance to interact rather than just read pages and not return.

Add local weather for each park. Link to a weather site such as BBC weather with each page having the postcode automatically set.

Same applies for the google maps. Rather than show the map of the locality use one of the google gadgets which has the postcode for the attraction set and the user is prompted to enter their start postcode.

This is much better than just showing the chart or the 'click for directions'. Here's an example from a different site:

K in UK should be consistantly capitalized.

The phrase "adventure parks" appears no less than seven times above the scroll... couldn't hurt to par that down a bit.

maybe center pics and youtube embed in the content DIV

try bumping "all of them in one place" in the top logo to the right a bit, see if it looks better lined up with the end of the "e" above it.

You need to change the layout and have better colours . Its' really not a user friendly site that should be your main focus
