I think by today's standards your design style is outdated, however it still seems effective which is more important than a site with glossy gradients and buttons that is hard to use. The only thing I recommend, that I think is quite necessary, is that you move the navigation down. It is way to high, I had to actually look for the navigation. Or you can try adding something to draw your attention to that top navigation. I have a site using a navbar on the top but it supplements a more central navbar and is very noticeable. My first thought was that black is not the most professional color to use. Also, your banner / logo ( http://shawnsitsolutions.com/wp-cont.../header-bg.jpg ) no offense but its ugly. It's extremely pixelated and its just not appealing to the eyes - well at least mine. I seen you slogan "Your number one stop for everything IT" I noticed on your website you dont offer any web hosting solutions - maybe I'm blind. If your slogan say "EVERYTHING" then it needs to have just that. It can be miss leading to potential clients. Don't take offense to any of this. I'm a freelance web designer myself ( http://www.the-pixel.com ) and I know personally its hard not to take what people say about your work to heart. No i don't take any of it to heart...I was thinking about the black being no so professional and thinking about redoing it.

Stilll looking for more reviews so i can get more thoughts. Thanks again guys.
