i think you should improve color scheme of your site,other wise its ok.

haha, "forced myself to redesign my personal website" sounds like dejavu... 5 years? I just opened my web design company and I plan to redesign/refresh the design/content every 6-12 months... hope I will be able to do so... anyway, I strongly suggest to order your portfolio items starting with the latest not the oldest

And also I don't like the 2-3 pixel black delimitations in the content... I would rather use 1 pixel and a color a little darcker/lighter than the background...

there is definitely room for improvement in terms of design...

Reordering the portfolio items is a good idea... should have thought of that myself, will keep the less crappy stuff above the scroll. I did try 1px lines on the content separators and did not care for it. Since they are a woefully important design element, I think 2px is more than acceptable and they don't look imposing on larger monitors.

Yeah, the colors didn't catch me either, but I definitely enjoy the content. The time line for your site versions is pretty great too. A nice step back in time.
