Website Review and Suggestions

Hi guys,

It's been a little while since i made a topic of my own in here. But i've recently revamped a website and i'm looking to get feedback on it.

The site is: Design Oven

If you can have a look around the site and at the other pages and provide some honest feedback that would be great. And do please be honest whether it's positive or negative feedback as it all helps build a better design in my opinion.

It's nicely oranized, though I don't feel that it's unique in anyway. It feels and looks to me like a typical adertising site, and by that, I mean a site that is selling a certain product. I don't feel that it provides a personal taste.

Overall this site is excellent work. Only one thing stood out, the side menu. If you want it to "run under" the main content, I think it would work better if there was more graphical separation and distinction from that sidebar and the main content... perhaps a more pronounced drop shadow, or at least a slightly more visible one on the right of the whitespace.

I'm not a fan of the design, honestly. I think I just don't like the concept. I do, however, love your lightbox loading image. I think it's just an artistic difference in taste.

Straight critique - it's not a bad design. Some cool cloud effects, and it looks fairly neat.

It has a nice layout, has good coding, but looks a bit compressed. I'd suggest you spread out the content a bit more, for example leave more spacing between your introduction and service columns. Overall you have done a good job!

I think that the design is simple but has an appealing appearance and the concept is quite different from other web design site! I think that you really done a great job on your site!

Simple but good design. Not sure how well the background color works. You may want to consider switching it

really good site - I don't generally like moving images but the cloud effects are really classy. Only thing I would say is that the font-size I would make a bit bigger

very clean and well laid out. I like your navigation and color scheme, however I don't really care to much for your flash at the top, you can recreate this javascipt. Either pay I really like your site, great work.
